Shoaib Shaheen added that if DIG Operations Lahore does not have any evidence against Arsalan, then he should be prosecuted for the murder of his father.

Lahore: The father of 13-year-old Arsalan Naseem, allegedly involved in the May 09 incidents in Lahore, died during a raid at home to arrest him.
In this regard, speaking to a private news channel, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Core Committee member Shoaib Shaheen said that Arsalan Naseem's lawyer Rana Intizar Hussain told that Arslan was not involved in any case before and now Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Operations has named him in another case.
Shoaib Shaheen added that if DIG Operations Lahore Nasir Rizvi does not have any evidence against 13-year-old Arsalan, then Nasir should be prosecuted for the murder of his father.
On the other hand, an investigation committee headed by DIG Investigation Imran Kishor has been formed after the allegations were made.
DIG Imran Kishor said: “We are investigating all the allegations, there is proof of Arslan's presence at Askari Tower in the May 09 incident and he is 20 years old, not 13”.
The DIG added that the birth certificate has been found, Arslan has also forged a 13-year-old certificate. The in-charge investigation was suspended not in the case but for poor performance.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Mohsin Shah Nawaz Ranjha has condemned the raid on Arslan Naseem's house even after being granted bail.
