Apple prohibits charging iPhones while wrapped in bedsheets
The company advisory advises users to charge their devices in well-ventilated areas.

California: Apple has issued a cautionary notice to iPhone users, urging them to avoid charging their devices while covered in bedsheets or other bedding materials.
According to the company's advisory, connecting the phone to a power source, such as a power adapter or wireless charger, while it's enclosed within materials like blankets, pillows, or even when placed underneath the body, has been discouraged.
Furthermore, Apple has informed users to ensure their phones are placed on a stable surface while charging.
The company advises users to charge their devices in well-ventilated areas and avoid covering them with bedding materials during the charging process.
The rationale behind this advisory is to prevent potential overheating and injuries that could result from charging cables or connectors coming in contact with users' bodies.
