Islamabad: A video statement has emerged from Andleeb Fatima, a 13-year-old domestic worker who became a victim of severe abuse and violence.
In the video, she reveals distressing details of the injustices she endured.
Andleeb Fatima, in her video statement, narrates her ordeal of being subjected to cruelty while working at a household, where she was not only mistreated but also had hot water thrown at her.
Her body was burned with heated tongs as well.
The traumatized girl reveals that she was beaten due to hunger and even witnessed the employer's children being subjected to violence.
She shares that she was attacked twice by dogs at the premises.
Andleeb Fatima explains that she was too afraid to speak up about the abuse due to fear.
She further discloses that the employer used to make fun of her.
According to the police, the suspect named Zeetoon, also known as Sumera, is currently out on bail.
