Coronavirus new variant detected in UK
The first case of W.H.O.N.E. Mu emerges in the UK.
London: New variant of the coronavirus came to light in four countries, with the first case reported in the UK.
The variant, labeled as "W.H.O.N.E. Mu," raises concerns, as monitoring is currently underway due to limited information about the virus.
The World Health Organization lifted the global public health emergency against COVID-19 on May 5, 2023.
However, a total of 30 variants of COVID-19 have emerged so far, with the Iris or A.G. Point V variant rapidly spreading, affecting people in 51 countries.
Scientists are actively working on developing vaccines against the new variant.
