Intense gunfire exchange between security forces and terrorists in Ladha, South Waziristan.
Ladha: In the region of Ladha in South Waziristan, a fierce exchange of gunfire occurred between security forces and terrorists, resulting in the elimination of one terrorist during the operation.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistan Army, a terrorist was neutralized during the exchange of gunfire.
The exchange of gunfire took place between the nights of August 22 and 23, as per the ISPR.
The Pakistan Army spokesperson stated, "Efficiently locating the terrorists' hideouts, the personnel carried out the operation." The operation also led to the recovery of weapons and ammunition from the deceased terrorist.
Ongoing anti-terrorism activities have been underway in the area to counter various terrorist activities by extremist elements.
