Pakistan Cricket Team’s fast bowler Haris Rauf was rewarded for his five-wicket haul in the first One-Day International (ODI) against Afghanistan, as he climbed seven places in the ICC Ranking.
Haris Rauf reached his career high ranking in ICC ODI Ranking, 36th place. He was at 43th place in the ranking last week.
Babar Azam, on the other hand, lost six points in the ODI Batters ranking after being bowled for a duck in the opening game.
The Pakistani captain still tops the ICC ODI Batters ranking by more than 100 points despite dropping six points.
Shaheen Shah Afridi, who received three points for taking two wickets in the first ODI against Afghanistan, has retained his ninth-place ranking among ODI bowlers.
Muhammad Nawaz, who was not chosen for the opening ODI, was dropped to position 38.
After being out in the first ODI for only two runs, Fakhar Zaman was dropped to fifth position. He lost ground to Imam-ul-Haq and Shubman Gill in the rankings, with Imam-ul-Haq moving up to No. 3.
