Islamabad: Caretaker Defence Minister, Lieutenant General (R) Anwar Ali Hyder, has assured that Pakistan Air Force (PAF) would be equipped with state-of-the-art technology, ensuring that it remains at the forefront of modern security challenges.
He gave the assurance during his visit to Air Headquarters in Islamabad, where he had a productive meeting with Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu.
During the meeting, matters pertaining to the evolving geo-strategic environment and regional security situation were discussed.
Chief of the Air Staff gave a briefing on Pakistan Air Force’s modernization plan and recent acquisitions from allied countries, aimed at ensuring an impregnable aerial defence of the country.
