Cricket Australia has announced the nominations of more overseas players for the Women's Big Bash League draft, including Pakistan fast bowler Fatima Sana, however Fatima Sana is yet to confirm her availability for the event.
Fatima Sana has played 31 One Day International (ODI) and 24 T20I matches for Pakistan. Including Fatima, 46 women cricketers from around the world have been nominated for the draft.
Four cricketers from Afghanistan including Rashid Khan have also been included in BBL nominations in the overseas draft.
During the last season, differences arose after Cricket Australia withdrew from the series against Afghanistan, in view of which several cricketers refused to play, but Rashid Khan asked to consider not playing the BBL again.
Cricket Australia had refused to play against Afghanistan due to human rights violations and restrictions on women.
There are reports that Rashid Khan is likely to be available for 08 matches of the BBL. 50 overseas players have been nominated for the draft so far.
