Police conducted an operation, resulting in the arrest of Pastor Alam Amjad, who resides close to the main suspect in the case.


Faisalabad: In connection with the investigations of the Jaranwala incident, the police have apprehended the central suspect's neighbor from the residence of a local pastor in Wazirabad.
As part of the ongoing inquiry into the Jaranwala incident, the police conducted a raid in Wazirabad and arrested Pastor Alam Amjad, who is a neighbor of the central figure in the case.
According to the police, prior to his arrest, a video statement of Pastor Alam Amjad was released in which he stated, "I have no connection with this incident; I was not in Jaranwala on that day."
Pastor Alam Amjad's wife also clarified that on the day of the incident, her husband was in Peshawar, not Jaranwala, and he has no connection with this case; the main suspects arrested in the case are familiar individuals to him.
It's worth noting that the Inspector General of Punjab Police had compiled a list of 170 individuals allegedly involved in the events surrounding the Jaranwala incident, out of which 160 have been apprehended.
