Washington: Former US President Donald Trump was formally arrested and then released in the case of interference in presidential elections 2020.

According to details, Donald Trump made a plea deal a day before his deadline to surrender after being indicted in the 2020 election meddling case.

According to foreign media reports, Donald Trump turned himself in to the Fulton County Jail in the 2020 election meddling case. For the first time in US history, a picture of a former president with prisoners has also been released.

The Fulton County Sheriff stated that Trump's fingerprints were taken again, but after he appeared in the Fulton County Jail, he posted $200,000 bail and left with his motorcade.

Foreign media reports told that on the occasion of appearance, the former president claimed that putting him in the case is actually an attempt to obstruct his candidacy in the presidential elections in 2024. He has every right to challenge this election.

Trump taunted the district attorney, saying, “Excuse me, I have to get ready to go to Atlanta where murder and other violent crimes are at an all-time high, And I have to be arrested by far-left low-life District Attorney Fanny Willis”.

It is pertinent to note that in the Georgia election case, former President is one of the 19 people who are facing charges of involvement in trying to change the defeat in 2020 presidential election.

According to reports, so far 12 out of 19 persons have presented themselves before the court.

The deadline to appear is Friday afternoon. Trump ally and former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani and lawyer Sidney Powell are also among those to surrender.
