The PML-N delegation will be consulted regarding the election schedule and date.
Islamabad: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) is all set to consult another major political party i.e. Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) today (Friday) regarding the upcoming general elections.
According to details, a seven-member party delegation of PML-N including Ahsan Iqbal, Senator Azam Nazir Tarar, Zahid Hamid and Rana Sanaullah will meet the Chief Election Commissioner today.
Khawaja Saad Rafiq, Amir Muqam and Attaullah Tarar are also part of the delegation. The PML-N delegation will be consulted regarding the election schedule and date.
The Election Commission has also sent an invitation to the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) for consultation on August 29. Yesterday, the delegation of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Jamat-e-Ulema Islami (JUI) consulted the Election Commission.
