Prince Faisal bin Turki of Saudi Royal Family funeral prayer to take place at Masjid al-Haram following sunset.
Makkah: A significant member of the Saudi Arabian royal family, Prince Faisal bin Turki bin Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Turki Al Saud, has passed away.
As per a statement from the royal court, expressing deep sorrow and condolences, the royal court has announced that funeral prayers for Prince Faisal bin Turki will be held at Masjid al-Haram after the Maghrib (sunset) prayer today.
Following the funeral prayer, he will be laid to rest.
Last month, Princess Hana bint Abdullah bin Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al Saud passed away, while in April, Prince Abdul Rahman bin Abdullah bin Abdul Rahman Al Saud's demise was officially announced by the Saudi Arabian royal court.
In a statement from the royal palace, prayers for forgiveness and elevation of status were offered for the departed, stating that the funeral prayer for Prince Faisal bin Turki took place at the Imam Turki bin Abdullah Mosque in Riyadh, with burial in Riyadh as well.
Recently, Prince Abdullah bin Saud bin Abdulaziz also transitioned, with his funeral prayer held after the Asr (afternoon) prayer at the Imam Turki bin Abdullah Mosque.
Prior to this, Princess Al-Jawhara bint Musaed bin Abdul Rahman Al Saud also passed away, with the royal court expressing prayers for her forgiveness and elevation of status.
