WhatsApp launches feature of nameless groups
Such groups shall be given a name by the company after the names of the persons in the group.

California: Meta continues to introduce new features in WhatsApp. In fact, Meta has introduced several new features in WhatsApp over the past few months.
These new features include screen sharing, instant video message, HD photos and edit message etc.
Now the company has introduced a new feature to improve WhatsApp groups. With this new feature, it will be possible to create groups without any name in WhatsApp.
According to Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, this is a simple feature but will prove to be very useful.
In the current version of the app, it is necessary to have a name to create a WhatsApp group, but it will no longer be necessary.
However, while using this feature it will be possible to add a very small number of people to a WhatsApp group.
Currently 1024 people can be added to a WhatsApp group but only six people can be added to an anonymous group.
Such groups shall be given a name by the company after the names of the persons in the group.
But the group name will appear differently to each person and it will depend on whether other members' names are saved in their phone or not.
If you join an anonymous group and its members are not saved as a contact, your phone number will appear as the group name. This indicates that this feature has been introduced for friends and family.
The company will roll out this feature to users worldwide over the next few weeks.
