Gas-filled blast in drain leaves six injured
An explosion in the drain near Lasbela Chowk, Karachi caused damage to shops.
An explosion occurred in a drain near Lasbela Chowk in Karachi due to the release of gas, causing damage to shops situated along the drain.
As a result, 8 individuals have been injured.
Upon receiving the report of the incident, rescue teams and the police swiftly reached the scene.
The blast created panic and fear among the residents. The injured have been transferred to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
The names of the injured are as follows: Nasiruddin son of Mohammad Akbar, 23 years old; Usman son of Muhammad Yunus, 20 years old; Khurram son of Ghulam Sarwar, 22 years old; Lal Mohammad son of Mohammad Muskeen, 35 years old; Muhammad Ajaz son of Farman, 24 years old; Hafeez son of Ali Rahman, 23 years old; Mansoor Ali son of Muhammad Khan, 40 years old; and Arif son of Riayat, 38 years old.
As a result of the explosion, the belongings from the shops were thrown into the drain.
