Judge Humayun Dilawal who sentenced Imran Khan to jail in Thoshakhan case made OSD
The Islamabad High Court (IHC) additional registrar issues notification and directs the judge to report to the high court.

Islamabad: Additional District and Sessions Judge Humayun Dilawar, who delivered the judgment against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and former Prime Minister Chairman Imran Khan in Thoshakhana case, was made Officer on Special Duty on Friday evening.
The Islamabad High Court (IHC) additional registrar issued notification and directed the judge to report to the high court. The notification was issued on directives of IHC Chief Justice Aamer Farooq.
Judge Hamayoun Dilawal sentenced Imran Khan to three years jail, disqualified him for five years and imposed fine on him in Thoshakhana case.
The development took place at the moment when the legal battle was underway at the Islamabad High Court and Supreme Court of Pakistan over the Thoshakhana case verdict.
Imran Khan, the Chairman of PTI, faced his second arrest within three months on August 6th. This followed an Islamabad sessions court's verdict, where he was sentenced to three years in prison and a five-year disqualification in the Toshakhana case.
After his arrest at his Zaman Park residence, Imran Khan was taken to Attock Jail, where he underwent a medical examination.
The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has postponed the hearing scheduled for Friday in response to Imran Khan's application seeking to challenge his conviction and the subsequent suspension of his sentence in the Toshakhana case.
The delay was due to the absence of Amjad Pervaiz, the legal representative of the Election Commission of Pakistan. The division bench, headed by IHC Chief Justice Aamir Farooq and Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri, granted ECP lawyer Amjad Pervaiz's request for an adjournment and rescheduled the hearing for Monday.
