Bushra Ansari’s sister Sumbal Shahid passes away due to Covid-19

According to details, Sumbul Shahid was in critical condition after testing positive for Covid-19.

A day earlier, Bushra Ansari had requested her supporters to pray for the health recovery of Sumbul Shahid, who was on ventilator at a hospital.

Many celebrities and supporters had responded to the appeal of Bushra Ansari and extended prayers for the recovery of her sister.

Besides Sumba, Bushra Ansari has two sisters Neelum Ahmed Bashir and Asma Abbas. Except Neelum Ahmed, all have been associated with the field of showbiz. Neelum Ahmed is a fictional writer and poet.

Pakistan is presently experiencing the third wave of coronavirus which is said to be deadlier and more contagious than previous two waves.

According to National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), around 4,198 cases of coronavirus were reported while 108 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 18,537.

The total number of confirmed cases reached to 845,833.

As many as 743,124 patients have recovered from the disease with 5,107 critical cases.
