Cricket fraternity congratulates Pakistan for getting first position in ICC ODI rankings

Lahore: Pakistan regained its position at the pinnacle of the ICC One Day International (ODI) rankings following a commanding clean sweep against Afghanistan in Colombo on the preceding Saturday.

Before the commencement of the series, Pakistan held the second spot with a rating of 116, trailing merely by two ratings behind Australia.

Yet, with an impressive 3-0 triumph, Pakistan elevated itself to the zenith of the rankings with a rating of 118, surging ahead of Australia in terms of points.

The extraordinary exhibition by the Pakistani team ignited jubilant celebrations among fans and garnered them commendation and accolades from the cricket community. Dimuth Karunaratne, the captain of the Sri Lankan Test squad, extended his congratulations to Pakistan for this remarkable achievement.
