The caretaker interior minister says all possible measures are being taken to uproot the menace of terrorism from the country.


Islamabad: Caretaker Interior Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti visited the headquarters of Frontier Corps Balochistan in Quetta, where he was briefed about the security situation in the province, border management and other matters.
Speaking on the occasion, Sarfaraz Bugti said all possible measures are being taken to uproot the menace of terrorism from the country.
The Interior Minister appreciated the role of FC in maintaining peace and carrying out welfare works in Balochistan.
On other hand, Caretaker Minister for National Heritage and Culture Dr Jamal Shah said that extremism and religious animosity would not be tolerated at any cost in Pakistan.
Talking to media in Jaranwala, he said our religion Islam doesn't permit any kind of discrimination and violence against any other religion and beliefs. He said that Islam teaches the lesson of peace, love and respect for others.
He lauded the efforts of Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi and his team for the speedy rehabilitation work on damaged worship places and houses.
The Minister said it is our religious, national as well as moral obligation to protect rights of minorities in the country.
