Weather becomes pleasant after rain in Lahore, other cities

Lahore: There was some heavy rain and some light rain in various cities of Punjab including Lahore early in the morning today (Monday), after which the weather became pleasant.

The heavy rain that started in the morning continued for some time in various areas of the provincial capital including Mughalpura, Mustafabad, Neela Gonbad, Queen's Road and Samanabad.

It also rained in the areas of Qila Gujjar Singh, Shahdara, Rajgarh, Shad Bagh, Jallo Park, Mehmood Booti, Garhi Shahu and other places.

After the rains, the weather became pleasant as the continuous humidity was interrupted.

Due to the rains, low-lying areas were flooded, while many areas were also deprived of electricity resultantly the citizens faced difficulties.
