Fire breaks out at rooftop restaurant in Lahore

Lahore: A fire broke out in a restaurant located on the rooftop of a shopping mall in Gulberg area of Lahore, as a result of which the entire eatery got burnt.
According to the rescue spokesman, the fire-affected restaurant was located on the roof of shopping mall where the fire broke out on Sunday afternoon.
Clouds of smoke could be seen far and wide due to the fire. There was a stampede in the shopping mall due to fear and traffic was jammed on the main boulevard Gulberg. The steakhouse was completely burnt down due to the fire.

However, the rescue team brought the fire under control after two hours of effort, and no casualties were reported.
According to the police, investigations are underway to find out the cause of the fire.
On the other hand, the restaurant’s social media team informed the people that the situation is under control. They told that fire brigade team performed vigilantly and took control of the fire.
They also wrote that the operations at the eatery would be temporarily paused till further notice.
