NAB had also issued a summon to the former Chief Minister to appear before the JIT of NAB with the required records.
Lahore: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has summoned former Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar again today (Wednesday).
According to details, NAB Lahore has directed Usman Buzdar to appear in person today.
On the other hand, it is reported that if the former chief minister fails to appear on August 30, his arrest warrant will be issued.
In the past few days, NAB had also issued a summon to the former Chief Minister to appear before the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) of NAB with the required records.
NAB is probing Usman Buzdar in the cases of assets beyond means, alleged illegal appointment and transfer and irregularities in export of wheat.
The former chief minister is also being investigated for the allegations of irregularities and corrupt practices in government department contracts.
It is pertinent to note that NAB has summoned former Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar multiple times before too however he failed to appear.
