Quetta: A police constable lost his life due to firing by unknown assailants in Quetta. The culprits managed to escape, creating a tense situation in the area.
The incident occurred on Sariab Road in Quetta, where unidentified attackers fired shots, resulting in the death of Constable Akhtar Hussain. He was a member of the Balochistan Constabulary.
According to the police, the constable was on his way home after completing his duty when the incident happened.
Nine-millimeter pistol cartridges were found at the scene, indicating the firing of two rounds.
The body of the deceased was shifted to the hospital, and investigations into various aspects of the incident have been initiated.
