Asad Umar urges citizens to celebrate last days of Ramadan and Eid with caution
Islamabad: Federal Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar has urged citizens to celebrate the last few days of Ramadan with caution and simplicity as Pakistan witnesses the third Covid-19 wave.
Taking to twitter, the head of National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) said that due to timely decisions by the government, the situation in Pakistan is not same as India.
"Let's spend this important time together while being cautious," he added.

Pakistan is presently experiencing the third wave of coronavirus which is said to be deadlier and more contagious than previous two waves.
According to National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), around 4,298 cases of coronavirus were reported while 140 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 18,677.
The total number of confirmed cases reached to 850,132.
As many as 743,124 patients have recovered from the disease with 5,107 critical cases.
