Karachi: Pakistani singer Abrar-ul-Haq and actress and model Iman Ali are all set to come together after a long gap, the singer's new Punjabi song "Rano" will be released soon.
The director of the song, Asad Mumtaz, said that the names of 2 to 3 female artists were given for the heroine of the song, but the decision to cast Iman Ali as the heroine was Abrar-ul-Haq's.
He said that Iman is a capable and very serious working actress and had earlier also appeared in the song "Sanoon Tere Naal" from Abrar-ul-Haq's album "Main Gudi Aap Chalawan Ga".
Director Asad Mumtaz said that Iman Ali will be seen in the role of Rano of Chandigarh in the song, the song will be shot in Lahore in September.
A question whether "Rano" is a traditional playful Punjabi girl? In response, Asad said that I think the time of showing cracker-type heroines has passed, now we are giving space to different stories in songs.
