The nation stands united against terrorism, President of Pakistan Dr. Arif Alvi asserts.


Islamabad: The President of Pakistan Dr. Arif Alvi has strongly condemned the suicide attack on a military convoy in Jani Khel.
President Alvi expressed deep sorrow and grief over the loss of precious lives in the suicide attack.
In this context, he reiterated the nation's commitment to the complete eradication of terrorism.
The President affirmed that the entire nation stands alongside the courageous security forces in the battle against terrorism, and efforts will persist until terrorism is completely eliminated.
He presented heartfelt condolences for the sacrifice of martyrs for the country.
President Alvi extended prayers for the elevation of martyrs' ranks and offered prayers for patience to their families.
Militant Attack on Military Convoy in Bannu, 9 Young Soldiers Martyred Including Deputy Governor
It should be noted that yesterday, a militant attack on a military convoy in the Bannu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa resulted in the martyrdom of 9 Pakistani soldiers.
According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), a motorcyclist detonated himself near the military convoy in the Jani Khel area of Bannu, leading to the martyrdom of 9 young soldiers from the Pakistan Army.
ISPR revealed that among those martyred as a result of the suicide attack is Deputy Governor Sanobar Ali.
Additionally, 5 young soldiers sustained injuries in the attack and were transferred to the hospital for medical assistance.
The statement further mentioned that security forces have cordoned off the area and initiated a search operation.
Security forces are determined to eliminate the curse of terrorism from the region, and the sacrifices of brave young men strengthen our resolve even more.
