Rawalpindi: A soldier embraced martyrdom in a gun fight with terrorists in the district Khyber in KP, ISPR said on Friday.
The martyr is identified as Havildar Muntazir Shah, a 36-year-old resident of Sawabi district.
The gun fight occurred in the night between August 31 and September 1, in the Tirah area of Khyber district, the military media wing said, adding that the troops killed a terrorist involved in numerous terrorist activities against security forces and civilians.
According to the ISPR, “Sanitization of the area is being carried out to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area,”.
