Five alleged attackers were killed as a result of two-way firing in the operation


Quetta: The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) conducted an operation in Basima area of Washak in Quetta in which five alleged attackers were killed in the exchange of fire.
According to CTD spokesperson, five alleged attackers were killed as a result of two-way firing in the operation while 03 accomplices of the attackers escaped.
The CTD spokesman told that weapons and ammunition have been recovered from the house used by the attackers, however search operation is underway in the area.
In recent days, CTD claimed to have killed two terrorists in Lakki Marwat as well.
According to Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) spokesperson, the slain terrorists belonged to the outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Tipu Gul group.
