Chaudhry Pervez Elahi demands release through nullification and alleges political vendetta.

Attock; Former Chief Minister of Punjab, Chaudhry Pervez Elahi, has challenged his arrest under the Maintenance of Public Order (MPO) in the Islamabad High Court. Elahi filed a petition through his lawyer, Abdul Razzaq.
In the petition, it is argued that the MPO imposed on September 1st is unlawful and requests that it be nullified, leading to his release.
The former Punjab Chief Minister also claims that he is being targeted for political reasons.
It is worth noting that Chaudhry Pervez Elahi was arrested in Lahore and subsequently transferred to Attock Jail after being taken into custody from his residence by Islamabad Police, following his release from Lahore High Court.
