Provincial Disaster Management Authority, Punjab has informed that there is medium level flood at Empress Bridge.


Bahawalnagar: Rescue and relief activities are underway in the flood hit areas along the Sutlej River in District Bahawalpur and Bahawalnagar.
Provincial Disaster Management Authority, Punjab informed that there is medium level flood at Empress Bridge.
According to the Spokesman of District Administration Bahawalpur, 27 flood relief camps have been established in District Bahawalpur to provide relief to the flood affectees.
Similarly, Pakistan Army with the help of District Administration, Rescue 1122 and other institutions is carrying out rescue and relief activities in the flood hit areas of Bahawalnagar, Minchan Abad, Chishtian, Head Sulemanki, Mailsi, Pakpattan, Arfiwala and Burewala to evacuate flood affectees and their animals.
Pakistan Army has established free medical camps to provide treatment to the flood affectees and ration and free medicines are also being provided to them.
