Islamabad: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) said Karachi is likely to remain partly cloudy during the next 24 hours with the possibility of drizzle on Sunday.
The Met department added that the maximum temperature is expected to reach between 31°C and 33°C in the metropolis whereas in the last 24 hours, the minimum temperature recorded was 26.9°C.
According to PMD, the humidity in Karachi is currently 62%, and winds are blowing from the southwest at a speed of 20 to 30 km/h.
In addition, while mostly hot and humid weather is predicted for the country's plains over the course of the next 12 hours, isolated locations in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Pothohar region, Islamabad, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan are predicted to see rain, wind, and thundershowers.
This morning, temperatures were 25°C in Islamabad and Peshawar, 28°C in Lahore and Karachi, 23°C in Quetta, 20°C in Gilgit and Muzaffarabad, and 16°C in Murree.
