Islamabad: The Sino-Pak joint annual air exercise Shaheen-X has commenced in the Jiuquan and Yinchuan cities of Northwest China.
The Pakistan Air Force (PAF)’s lead fighter aircraft J-10 C and JF-17 are participating in the exercise along with air and ground crew.
According to a PAF news release, the joint Shaheen exercises between the Pakistan Air Force and the People's Liberation Army Air Force have been going on since 2011.
The Shaheen exercise aims to improve operational preparedness, interoperability, and aerial combat training among the participating strategic and seasoned allies in the area.
The Pakistan Air Force would be more effective in the dynamic and changing environment of modern warfare if characteristics like hybrid warfare, cyberspace, and computing were included in this air exercise.
The exercise would encourage the "iron brothers" to create a comprehensive defense plan to strengthen their ability to protect their airborne borders in the face of common threats.
The tenth joint aerial exercise between the renowned People's Liberation Army Air Force and the Pakistan Air Force marks the beginning of an incredible effort to deepen the bonds of friendship and cooperation between the air forces of the two countries.
The exercise is planned to improve the standard of the practical combat training received by participating skillful pilots and brave people.
PAF reiterates its steadfast commitment to promote regional harmony, global security, and continuous improvement in its own prowess through such joint engagements.
