Mortar shell explosion kills woman, four kids in S. Waziristan

South Waziristan: A mortar shell hit a house in Shaktoi Shabi Khel area of Ladha.

According to the police, five members of the same family were killed and two sustained the injuries due to mortar shell explosion at the house.

Police stated that a mortar shell hit the house from an unknown direction, resulting in the death of a woman and four children.

They also told that as soon as the information was received by the police, the residents of the house were taken to the hospital, but they could not succumbed to the injuries.
