Washington: Twin siblings, aged 4, were found locked inside a toy cupboard.

According to reports, the mother, Sadie Meyers, confirmed the tragic deaths of her twin children in a Facebook post that left readers in shock.

She mentioned that many people might not understand the pain of losing two children simultaneously and believed that there might be a special reason why they were chosen by the universe.

She speculated that it could be to save them from a future catastrophe.

In her post, she urgently warned parents that sealed toy cupboards could become "soundproof" when closed. She implored parents to dispose of such cupboards immediately.

Ora and Kelan, the twin siblings, were placed to bed by their father, on the night of August 25th. But they decided to sit in the cupboard used to store their toys.

However, when the parents returned to check on them, they discovered that the children had passed away due to a lack of oxygen.

The children's arms were entangled around each other, and their older brother initially thought they were still asleep.

According to the mother, the twins had different waking times, and she often found them sleeping in different places in the morning. They had shared a room with their toy cupboard.

She explained, "I knew something wasn't right, but it dawned on me too late."

Meyers added that they had been staying with family members for the past week because they didn't want to emotionally distress the children

They wanted to shield the children from emotional turmoil that could result from a family incident.
