Court adjourned the hearing and extended Bushra Bibi's interim bail till September 12.


Islamabad: The District and Sessions Court Islamabad Thursday extended the interim bail of Bushra Bibi, wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan, till September 12 in Toshakhana case.
According to details, the case related to Toshakhana fake receipts against Bushra Bibi was heard in the District and Sessions Court Islamabad during which she appeared in the court of Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra along with her lawyers.
The investigating officer of the case told the court that Federal Investigation Airport (FIA) has sent Bushra Bibi's audio for forensics and arrest of Bushra Bibi is required for investigation.
Lawyer Salman Safdar said that Bushra Bibi was interrogated for three hours.
Judge Tahir Abbas inquired that the issue is about receipts, where did the audio come from. On which the investigating officer said that he asked Imran Khan’s wife about the audio leak whether it is hers or not. Bushra Bibi said I have not done any such wrong thing and the leaked audio does not belong to her.
The investigating officer requested that time be given for the voice matching of Bushra Bibi.
Court granted the request of the investigating officer, adjourned the hearing and extended Bushra Bibi's interim bail till September 12.
