Officials of the Federal Health Ministry said that pharmaceutical industry wants to increase the prices of more than 250 medicines and it is not possible to increase the prices of medicines immediately.
Officials say that the shortage of medicines is an excuse to pressurize the prices increase, except for eight to 10 medicines. All medicines are making profits for the pharmaceutical industry.
According to officials, the prices of medicines have been increased by 14% and 20% this year. The decision to increase the prices of medicines can only be taken by the next elected government. The first priority is to make the supply of medicines possible to the people.
