PTI had also filed a bail plea of Pervez Elahi, on which the court issued notices to the parties for September 11.

Islamabad: The court Friday rejected the appeal for physical remand of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) President Chaudhry Parvez Elahi in judicial complex vandalism case registered against him.
According to details, Parvez Elahi has been sent to Adiala Jail on judicial remand.
The judicial complex vandalism case against former Punjab Chief Minister Parvez Elahi was heard by Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) judge Abul Hasanat Zulqarnain.
During the hearing, Prosecutor Raja Naveed requested another 10-day physical remand of Parvez Elahi, while lawyer Sardar Abdul Razzaq said that earlier Elahi was given two days of physical remand by the duty judge.
Judge Abul Hasnat asked to submit the documents of former chief minister's physical remand, to which lawyer said that PTI President's name was included in judicial complex vandalism case two days ago. Many political cases have been registered against Pervez Elahi. He was kidnapped from Lahore and brought to Islamabad and arrested.
Lawyer Abdul Razzaq added that Parvez became a part of PTI in April 2023. The judicial complex vandalism case was registered in March.
High Court said: “A political case was made against Pervez Elahi which should be discharged. However instead of discharging him, he was named in another case registered in Gujranwala to which judicial magistrate of Gujranwala also said there is no worth of case, he should be discharged.
Parvez Elahi's lawyer Babar Awan requested to issue the written order for sending him to Adiala Jail on judicial remand.
Judge Abul Hasnat rejected Parvez Elahi's plea for 10 days of physical remand and ordered him to be sent to Adiala Jail on 14 days of judicial remand.
Babar Awan speaking to Judge Abul Hasnat said: “You appear selfless in every case”.
PTI lawyers appeal for Pervez Elahi’s family meeting and food in jail. On which Judge said to arrange a meeting with Pervez's family.
Parvez Elahi said while talking to the judge, “Thank you very much, and there is no jail left in Punjab where I have to be sent. I have stents in my heart, Chief Minister of Punjab is my relative but he is strongly against me,” on which Judge Abul Hasnat said, “Whoever you do good to, fear the evil of him”.
PTI had also filed a bail plea of Pervez Elahi, on which the court issued notices to the parties for September 11.
