Dubai: A training helicopter crashed into the sea in the United Arab Emirates, with two pilots on board.
The General Civil Aviation Authority of the UAE issued a statement on Friday, revealing that an Aero Gulf helicopter crashed into the sea, including two pilots, after taking off from Dubai's Al Maktoum International Airport.
Authorities stated that rescue teams swiftly responded, recovering the helicopter wreckage and initiating a search for the crew on board.
It is noteworthy that authorities were alerted to the helicopter accident by their Air Accident Investigation Department at approximately 8:30 AM.
The pilots aboard the helicopter were conducting a night training flight and had connections to Egypt and South Africa.
