In a career spanning two decades, Sonia’s vision and dedication have transformed Miss Pakistan from a mere dream into a powerful platform celebrating Pakistan's beauty, intelligence, and rich culture.

Lahore: Sonia Ahmed, like many other exceptional individuals in the industry, exemplifies a unique blend of skills encompassing acting, modeling, singing, and more.
Sonia Ahmed's remarkable journey has left an indelible mark on the world of pageantry and beyond, as she successfully guided the Miss Pakistan pageant to international recognition and prominence.
In a career spanning two decades, Sonia’s vision and dedication have transformed Miss Pakistan from a mere dream into a powerful platform celebrating Pakistan's beauty, intelligence, and rich culture.
As Miss Pakistan World commemorates its 21st anniversary, it stands as an embodiment of empowerment and an ambassador for Pakistan on the global stage.
Sonia Ahmed's journey to establish Miss Pakistan began during her time in Canada. Initially conceived as "Miss Canada Pakistan," the pageant's allure transcended borders, attracting participants from Europe, the USA, New Zealand, Australia, and Pakistan itself.
The pageant evolved into "Miss Pakistan World." Despite encountering numerous challenges, including shifts from its university origins to various locations in Canada and the USA, the event eventually found its permanent home in Lahore, Pakistan.
In August 2020, the inaugural crowning took place in Lahore, marking a significant milestone. Subsequent events followed, such as the crowning of Miss Trans Pakistan in May 2021, and on January 31, 2022, Miss Pakistan World, Miss Pakistan Global, Ms. Pakistan Universe, Mrs.
Pakistan World, and Mr. Pakistan winners were celebrated. Most recently, on May 31, 2023, a local hotel in Lahore witnessed the crowning of Miss Pakistan World, Miss Pakistan Global, Mrs. Pakistan World, Miss Trans Pakistan, Ms. Pakistan Universe, and Miss Pakistan Universal.
Sonia Ahmed emphasized the critical role of such events, stating, "The most important reason is that Pakistan needs positive publicity, and we want to promote that about our country." She underscored the significance of women from diverse backgrounds sharing their perspectives about Pakistan. Sonia believes that the world pays attention when women convey their experiences, thus emphasizing the importance of showcasing Pakistan in a positive light globally.
With 21 years of history, the Miss Pakistan group is already gearing up for the 22nd year, determined to increase Pakistan's international representation. Sonia Ahmed's vision continues to inspire, transforming her dream into a platform for empowerment and positive representation on the global stage.
