State radio and television are broadcasting special programs on this occasion to pay tribute to Quaid-e-Azam for his unmatched services for freedom of Pakistan.
Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah passed away on this day in 1948 shortly after achieving freedom for the nation.
Due to the relentless hard work Quaid did for the creation of Pakistan, his health deteriorated and he succumbed to the illness on 11 September 1948.
Ali Jinnah’s farsighted approach, skillfulness, knowledge, and right political maneuvers are written in the golden words.
Till now, Quaid’s personality is considered an idol, and not only Pakistanis but also foreigners in a large number follow him.
Stanley Wolpert notes, “Few individuals significantly alter the course of history. Fewer still modify the map of the world. Hardly anyone can be credited with creating a nation-state. Mohammad Ali Jinnah did all three.”
Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar said without the leadership of Quaid-e-Azam, the dream of an independent state for Muslims would never have been achieved.
He stated: “Pakistan is currently going through a difficult period, we have to work hard day and night for the development of Pakistan”.
