Marrakech: In the aftermath of the catastrophic earthquake in Morocco, the search for survivors continues beneath the rubble.
The Red Cross Organization emphasizes that the next 24-48 hours are crucial for saving human lives.
The earthquake has resulted in a death toll exceeding 2,000, with more than 1,800 people injured and 12 hundred in critical condition currently receiving treatment in hospitals.
The devastating 6.8 magnitude earthquake struck near the historic city of Marrakech in southern Morocco, which is a popular tourist destination located approximately 72 kilometers away from the epicenter.
Additionally, on Sunday, a 4.5 magnitude aftershock further rattled the same region, causing complete destruction in mountainous areas where populations reside.
