Saudi Ministry of Hajj issues rules regarding women Ihram

Riyadh: The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has defined three rules regarding proper Umrah dress for women.

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah said in a statement on social media site X (former Twitter): “The clothing should be wide and loose-fitting”.

It should not have any decorative elements, they added.

The authorities also told that clothing should cover the entire body.

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah said that females are permitted to wear any clothing of their choice for pilgrimage of Umrah as long as these conditions are met while coming to Masjid al-Haram.
