Washington: United States has emphasized on holding free, fair and timely elections in Pakistan.
During a press briefing in Washington, US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller said that Pakistan is an important partner of America. Pakistan values US relations at public and government level.
In his press briefing, he said that free, fair and timely elections should be held in Pakistan.
The spokesperson of US State Department said: “The authorities insist that election process should be carried out in accordance with laws of Pakistan”.
During his press briefing, the spokesperson Matthew Miller said that human rights, fundamental freedoms and the rule of law should be respected.
