Washington: Thomas West, the US Special Representative for Afghanistan stated that the outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban armed militant group has become a major threat to Pakistan’s territorial integrity.
This armed militant group is operating along the borders of Pakistan and Afghanistan.
While addressing a think tank in Washington, Thomas West revealed that there is a significant increase in attacks by the outlawed TTP in Pakistan.
These attacks have become a major threat to the regional integrity.
He added that TTP became an ally of the Taliban during the war with the NATO alliance, and the relationship between the TTP and the Taliban is still very strong.
