Karachi: The US dollar become cheaper in interbank market by Rs1.12 in Pakistan to settle at Rs297.70.
While in the open market, dollar became cheaper by Rs3 and the price of one dollar is 298 rupees.
Yesterday, the dollar closed at Rs298.82 in the Interbank.
On the other hand, Chairman Pakistan Forex Exchange Association Malik Bostan said Chief of Army Staff (COAS) has taken the burden that civil government had to take. If the operation continues, the rate of dollar may reach Rs250.
Yesterday, Malik Bostan added that rates of electricity and petrol will also decrease, while the rate of dollar is also decreasing continuously.
