Islamabad: Interim Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar directed interim Minister for Privatization Fawad Hasan Fawad to precipitate the privatization process of the Pakistan International Airline (PIA).
According to sources, Interim PM Kakar presided over the meeting related to Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) on Thursday.
The Prime Minister was told at the discussion about the privatization of PIA and other topics.
Furthermore, the Prime Minister instructed the relevant authorities to expedite the privatization of the PIA since it is essential to offer customers international standard air travel.
A member of the Prime Minister's team, Fawad Hasan Fawad, was given a cordial welcome and given the responsibility of directing the quick privatization of PIA under the direction of the Ministry of Privatization as soon as possible.
