Qazi Faez Isa directed the police to fulfill their responsibility wholeheartedly.


Islamabad: Newly appointed Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Qazi Faez Isa refused to take the guard of honour today (Monday).
According to details, on the arrival of Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faez Isa at the Supreme Court, he was to be presented a guard of honor by the Islamabad Police, but he refused to receive the guard of honour.
Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faez Isa directed the police to fulfill their responsibility wholeheartedly.
The new chief justice was welcomed by the staff on his arrival at the Supreme Court. Speaking to the staff on this occasion, Qazi Faez said: “Today I have many meetings and a full court, I need your cooperation”.
It is pertinent to note that Justice Qazi Faez Isa, the most senior judge of the Supreme Court, took the oath of office as the 29th Chief Justice of Pakistan.
