SSGC extortion accused along with accomplice arrested

Karachi: The accused, who was collecting extortion from the factory owner in the name of Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC), was arrested along with his accomplice.

According to the police officials, the Special Investigation Unit has arrested two suspects who took extortion from the owner of a garment factory located in New Karachi.

Police told that the arrested accused Ahmed and Khalid were receiving extortion from the owner of a garment factory in New Karachi for a long time.

Accused Khalid used to demand extortion by pretending to be a Sui gas inspector. The factory owner got fed up with the extortionists and filed a case in New Karachi Industrial area police station.
