Islamabad: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has forbade Punjab University administration from making new recruitments without permission.
According to details, the commission has directed to withdraw the ongoing advertisement for new recruitments.
In the letter sent to the Punjab University administration, the Election Commission said that new teachers should not be recruited without permission.
The post added that advertisement issued by the university administration for the recruitment of teachers on July 29 is a violation of the Election Act, 2017.
The Election Commission has directed that advertisement issued for new recruitment be withdrawn immediately.
