Three killed as passenger bus overturns on highway

Sargodha: In a tragic incident, three killed were killed, while 15 sustained the injuries as a passenger bus on its way to Lahore from Peshawar overturned on the highway in Sargodha.

According to details, police and rescue teams reached the spot soon after getting the information of the incident and shifted the killed and injured to the nearby hospital for quick medical assistance.

Rescue officials stated that the condition of five out of 15 people injured in the accident is critical.

They also told that a passenger bus overturned due to a tire burst near the Kot Momin interchange on the highway.

Police however, cordoned of the area to start and investigation into the incident to ascertain the real cause.
