Lahore: The Lahore High Court (LHC) Friday issued notices to the parties on the petition against the increase in the prices of petroleum products.
According to details, a hearing was held in the High Court on a petition against the increase in the prices of petroleum products.
It has been appealed on behalf of the petitioner that court declares the recent increase in the prices of petroleum products null and void.

It is pertinent to note that a few days ago, Advocate Azhar Siddique—head of the judicial activism panel—filed an appeal in the Lahore High Court, in which others, including the supervisory federal government, were made parties.
Notable, the government has increased the price of petroleum products by increasing the price of petrol by Rs26.2 and diesel by Rs17.34 per liter.
